Advertising Techniques:
-Brand Summary:  makes the brand's benefits and specialities clear
-Brief:  Clear and to the point
-Rhymes:  Sticks in the mind and easy to remember
-Repetition of brand name:  Repeating something three times or more helps it to become memorable
-Alliteration:  Similar to rhyming
-Use of the second person:  Consumer feels spoken to personally and involved in the product or identity on offer
-Use of every/always:  Indicates the company's unswerving commitment
-Present tense:  Universality/timelessness
-Imperatives:  Assertive demands designed to sweep the consumer along in agreement
-Capitals:  Emphasis
-Humour:  Consumers are entertained
-Puns/word play:  Gives a second layer of meaning to impress the consumer with its smartness and novelty

-M&Ms=melts in your mouth, not in your hands
-Coca Cola-open happiness
-Apple=think different
-L'Oreal=because you're worth it
-Mac donalds=im loving it

Tesco:
-'you shop, we drop'
-uses a pun
-'you' is the second person
-rhyme (shop and drop)
-the shop is present tense
-repetition of the brand name (from the bag and lorry)

Burger Kind:
-'we heard you like burgers, so we put burgers in your burger'
-repetition of the second person
-the link between business and customer
-trying to connect
-repetition on burger

Innocent:
-'never sweetened never concentrated'
-repetition of brand name and never and juice
-enforce what the product is
-son serif-simplicity due to the message

Gambleaware:
-repetition of stop
-imperative word 'stop'
-the word fun is shown to be fun and enjoyable due to size and font

Protein world:
-'you' use of a second person, direct address
-beach body=allitereation
-rhetorical question, makes you think
-'beach body' plosive

This advert used the colour scheme and reputation to make us want to by the Marmite, the colours used made us remember the advert as well as the rhetorical question making us wanting to try it.

The word yourself made this advert connect to the aducine, therefore, gained their attention and made them want to try these products as they feel like the advert was connecting to them.

This video advert made us laugh and filled out enjoyment whilst watching this, as we continued to watch it it was funny and enjoyable.

    A good effort here and clearly you are identifying techniques within each adevrt by yourself, such as repetition in the Marmite one and humour in the tv advert, but I'm confused why you say 'infographics' used? An Infographic is a graphic created to communicate information and not relevant here. If anything this should say 'Advertising technique used'.

    Can you also get the following put in please:

    1. Five existing advertising slogans you are asked to find at the start, like 'Nike -Just Do It'
    2. Please put up the five adverts Mr Boon discusses with brief notes on what he says

    Please remember the deadline is this Monday for all prep, so please let us know if you will not be able to meet this as the work on the brief is due to start then as well.
